At Swimmy Tail, we respect your privacy. This policy explains how we handle information within our mobile application.

1. Information We Collect and Face Data Policy

We believe in data minimization. Our "Custom Face" feature allows you to personalize your character using your device’s camera. Regarding this feature:

• Face Data Collection: When you use the "Custom Face" feature, the app accesses your camera to capture a selfie. Our local algorithm detects face boundaries to crop the image into a character sprite. We do not collect or store biometric "face prints" or mapping data.
• Planned Use: This data is used solely to create a static, customized in-game character sprite for your personal entertainment within the app.
• No Sharing or Disclosure: We do not share face data with any third parties. All processing is performed 100% locally on your device.
• Storage and Retention: The resulting character sprite is stored only in the app's local private directory on your device. We do not transmit this data to external servers.
• User Control and Deletion: You can delete your custom character and its associated face data at any time by selecting the "Delete" (trash icon) option within the Shop Menu. Uninstalling the app also removes all locally stored face data.

2. Additional Information We Collect

• In-App Purchase Data: We use RevenueCat to manage DNA pack purchases. RevenueCat collects transaction information and a unique, pseudonymous identifier to verify your purchase status. We do not see or store your payment card details; these are handled exclusively by Apple.
• Game Progress: High scores, DNA balance, and unlocked characters are stored locally on your device.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the data collected to:

• Provide and maintain the game’s core functionality.
• Validate and process in-app purchases through RevenueCat.
• Allow character customization via locally stored images.

4. Third-Party Services

We integrate with the following third-party providers to facilitate game features and monetization:

• RevenueCat: Purchase verification and entitlement management.
• Apple App Store / Google Play Store: Payment processing and app distribution.

6. Data Retention

Most game data is stored locally. If you uninstall the app, local data (including high scores and custom faces) will be deleted. Purchase history is maintained by the App Stores and RevenueCat to allow for "Restore Purchase" functionality.

7. Children’s Privacy

Swimmy Tail does not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children. Our custom face feature is strictly local and does not transmit data over the internet.
